Battersea Park rail crash
The Battersea Park rail crash occurred on 2 April 1937, just south of Battersea Park railway station on the Southern Railway, in London, England. Two electrically driven passenger trains collided on the Up Local line; the second train, from Coulsdon North to Victoria, had been allowed into the section while it was still occupied by the first train, from London Bridge to Victoria.

Die Battersea Railway Bridge (offiziell Cremorne Bridge, ursprünglich Battersea New Bridge) ist eine Eisenbahnbrücke über den Fluss Themse in London. Sie wird von der zweigleisigen West London Line benutzt, welche das Stadtzentrum westlich umfährt und dabei die Clapham Junction und Willesden Junction verbindet. Die Brücke ist 220 Meter lang, zusammen mit den Viadukten an beiden Flussufern 387 Meter. Die Hauptbrücke besteht aus fünf schmiedeeisernen Bögen, die auf Mauerwerkspfeilern ruhen.

Wandsworth Bridge
Le Wandsworth Bridge est un pont de la ville de Londres traversant la Tamise, reliant Battersea dans le borough de Wandsworth sur la rive sud à Sands End et Parsons Green dans le borough de Hammersmith et Fulham sur la rive nord. Le premier pont sur le site est un pont à péage construit par Julian Tolmé (en) en 1873 dans l'optique que le terminus ouest de la Ligne Hammersmith soit prochainement construit sur la rive nord, conduisant à une forte augmentation du nombre de personnes voulant traverser la rivière à cet endroit.
