Abbey Hills
Niché à la frontière orientale du district historique d'Oldham, dans le Grand Manchester, ce secteur urbain jouxte les quartiers de Glodwick et Alt. Son histoire moderne a été profondément marquée par l'érection, dès les années 1930, de la vaste cité résidentielle de l'Abbey Hills Estate. Fait marquant de son évolution urbanistique, cet ensemble de logements sociaux a presque entièrement disparu du paysage à la fin des années 1980, suite à une vaste campagne de démolition. Aujourd'hui, ce nom rappelle aux habitants la mémoire de cette importante mutation architecturale qui a façonné le visage de la banlieue mancunienne.

Park Bridge
Park Bridge is an area of Ashton-under-Lyne, in the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside, in Greater Manchester, England. It is situated in the Medlock Valley, by Ashton-under-Lyne's border with Oldham. Park Bridge anciently lay within the medieval manor of Ashton; however, there is no record of Park Bridge until the 17th century. The name is probably a reference to the medieval Lyme Park, in the north west of the manor of Ashton.

Salem Moravian Church was founded in Oldham, Lancashire, England in 1825 by John Lees. Br Lees, who lived in the Clarksfield area of Oldham, was associated with the Moravian Settlement at Fairfield in Droylsden.

St James' Church, Oldham
St James' Church is in Barry Street, Greenacres Moor, Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Oldham East, the archdeaconry of Rochdale, and the diocese of Manchester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was a Commissioners' church, having received a grant towards its construction from the Church Building Commission.
