Grim Church
Niché dans les quartiers nord-ouest de Kristiansand, cet édifice religieux contemporain de la municipalité d'Agder a ouvert ses portes en 1969. D'une capacité d'accueil d'environ 385 fidèles, cette église paroissiale se distingue par son architecture austère et moderne en béton gris. Fait notable, sa conception a été entièrement pensée par Alv Erikstad, qui exerçait alors les fonctions d'architecte municipal. Aujourd'hui rattaché au diocèse d'Agder og Telemark, ce lieu de culte discret incarne le renouveau architectural des édifices paroissiaux norvégiens de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle.

Die Kristiansand katedralskole – seit 2007 Kristiansand katedralskole Gimle (KKG) genannt – wurde 1686 als sechste Domschule Norwegens gegründet und hatte ihren Standort im Zentrum von Kristiansand unmittelbar neben der Domkirche. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Lehrinhalt der Schule, die ursprünglich zur Pfarrerausbildung diente, beträchtlich erweitert; und seit 1869 wurde sie als Gymnasium bezeichnet. 1974 zog die Schule in den nordöstlichen Stadtteil Gimle um, wo sie 2007 mit einem sich dort befindenden Handelsgymnasium zusammengelegt wurde.

Nichée au cœur du district de Lund à Kristiansand, cette église paroissiale blanche se distingue par son architecture peu commune. Édifiée en 1987 selon les plans des architectes J. Landsverk et Nordbø, elle arbore un surprenant design hexagonal qui rompt avec les traditions rectangulaires habituelles. Pouvant accueillir environ 360 fidèles, ce lieu de culte contemporain, rattaché au diocèse d'Agder og Telemark, offre un bel exemple de modernité architecturale au service du patrimoine spirituel norvégien.
