Bloye is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department, within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. In the local Savoyard language, the village is known as Blèyi, while its French name is pronounced [blɔj]. This small community therefore sits in the French Alps area, where Savoyard traditions and the French language have long coexisted.
