The Broye is a 68-kilometre river flowing through the Swiss cantons of Fribourg and Vaud. Its name is pronounced [bʁwa] in French and Brouye [bʁuj(ə)] in Arpitan. The river drains a watershed area of 850 square kilometres, making it a notable watercourse in western Switzerland.
