LandmarkBolton Art Gallery, Library & Museum
Installé au sein du prestigieux Civic Centre depuis 1939, cet établissement culturel majeur du Grand Manchester réunit sous un même toit une bibliothèque centrale, une riche galerie d'art et l'un des plus anciens aquariums publics de Grande-Bretagne. Ses collections éclectiques, façonnées par les dons de collectionneurs privés comme Caroline Birley, s'étendent de l'histoire naturelle à l'archéologie locale. Aneecdote fascinante, le musée s'est retrouvé au cœur d'un scandale retentissant en 2006 lorsqu'il a été révélé que sa célèbre statuette de la « princesse Amarna » était en réalité une contrefaçon réalisée par le faussaire local Shaun Greenhalgh.

Historically in Lancashire, it is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II* listed building and was formerly under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. As of 2014, the church is in use as a business and community centre.

The Church of St George is a redundant church on Bath Street in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. It was completed in 1796, with a shallow chancel and south chapel added or rebuilt 1907 by James Simpson. The church was designated a Grade II* listed building on 26 April 1974. It closed in 1975 and was used as a crafts centre until 2007.

St Peter's is an active parish church in the Diocese of Manchester and is part of the Bolton deanery and Bolton archdeaconry.
