Chauvé (French pronunciation: [ʃove] ; Gallo: Chauvàè, Breton: Kalveg) is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France. Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the numerous menhirs found there, Chauvé is located to the west of Loire-Atlantique, a few kilometers from the coast.
