Schloss Glérolles
Perché sur les rives du lac Léman, entre Lausanne et Vevey, ce château vaudois veille sur les vignobles en terrasses de Lavaux, classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Édifié au XIIe siècle par l'évêque de Lausanne, il servait alors de péage fluvial et de résidence fortifiée. Reconstruit au XVIe siècle après un incendie, il abrite aujourd'hui un domaine viticole réputé. Détail méconnu : son nom viendrait du latin *glarea*, évoquant les bancs de graviers du lac autrefois exploités à proximité.
